Wesley Patache Joins World's Largest Football Agency After Strong Start in Netherlands

Wesley Patache, former Maccabi Tel Aviv player, has made a significant career move by signing with CAA, one of the largest football agencies globally. Patache, 22, began the 2026/27 season impressively with AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, scoring in the Super Cup against PSV Eindhoven and performing well in the league opener against ADO Den Haag.

CAA represents a star-studded roster including players like Cole Palmer, Moses Caicedo, Pedro Porro, Richarlison, and Kingsley Coman, collectively valued at around 1.5 billion euros. The agency also manages numerous top coaches, including Brazil national team coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Patache was initially transferred from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 7.3 million euros, the highest fee ever for a player from the Israeli Premier League. Maccabi Tel Aviv retains a percentage of any future sale. If Patache is sold for 15 million euros after a successful season, Maccabi could receive an estimated 1.55 million euros; if sold for 20 million euros, the amount could rise to 2.6 million euros.

This move to CAA could open new opportunities for Patache, potentially increasing his market value and future transfer prospects. His strong start in the Dutch league and association with a top agency mark a promising phase in his career.
