Former Maccabi Netanya Midfielder Yuval Sade Joins Hanoi FC in Vietnam
Yuval Sade, the 26-year-old former Maccabi Netanya midfielder and defender, has officially signed with Hanoi FC in the Vietnamese league. Sade was initially set to join Romanian club Cluj after his contract ended with Netanya, but he left Cluj without making any official appearances and remained out of their squad this season except for one bench appearance. He will now join Hanoi FC on a free transfer.
During the previous season, Sade played 28 matches for Maccabi Netanya, alternating between defensive midfield and center-back roles. Hanoi FC finished fourth in the Vietnamese league last season and is coached by former Liverpool player Harry Kewell. The team’s attack is led by former Wimbledon striker David Fisher and former Reims forward Andrew Young. The Vietnamese league season is scheduled to begin on September 4.
This move continues the trend of Israeli players pursuing opportunities abroad, with Sade now embarking on a new chapter in Southeast Asia.
