Haredi Podcast Host Riki Faibelzon Dies at 32 in Jerusalem
Rivka (Riki) Faibelzon, a 32-year-old resident of the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood in Jerusalem, passed away after experiencing breathing difficulties and collapsing at her home. Faibelzon had a history of asthma, which contributed to her sudden health crisis. She was the daughter of Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Faibelzon, head of the "Ptechi Olam" yeshiva in Jerusalem, and Pinina Faibelzon.
Throughout her life, Faibelzon was deeply involved in education, working as a teacher at the Ashira school in Jerusalem and coordinating a program to spread Judaism in local schools. In the past year, she gained recognition as a podcast host targeting women, discussing topics such as Judaism, education, and matchmaking.
Her latest podcast episode, part of the series "Listening to Matchmaking," was released just days before her death through the Haredi media outlet "Mishpacha." Faibelzon's funeral is scheduled to take place today (Wednesday) in Jerusalem.
