Sandy Cohen Signs With Hapoel Haifa for 2026/27 Season

Hapoel Haifa officially announced the signing of small forward Sandy Cohen for the 2026/27 basketball season. Cohen is a veteran player with extensive experience in the Israeli Premier League, boasting five major titles including two national championships and two State Cups with Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as a Winner Cup with the same team. Throughout his career, he has also played for Hapoel Afula, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and most recently joined Maccabi Haifa mid-last season. In 21 games with Maccabi Haifa, Cohen averaged 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.

Hapoel Haifa's coach, Sharon Drucker, welcomed Cohen, highlighting his athleticism, experience, and strong two-way skills. Drucker also noted that Cohen's familiarity with the league from last season would be beneficial for the team's upcoming challenges. Cohen's addition is expected to strengthen Hapoel Haifa's roster for the new season.
