Yotam Asban Marries Rinah After Recovering from Severe Gaza Head Injury

Yotam Asban, who suffered a severe head injury during the Gaza conflict and underwent a lengthy rehabilitation, married Rinah in a ceremony held on Monday evening. Asban, a resident of Beit El and alumnus of Mercaz HaRav and Beit Orot yeshivas, recovered from his critical injury in what has been described as a miraculous healing. The couple's match was arranged by a person who supports and cares for wounded soldiers, who had previously matched Rinah's brother, also injured in the war, and later introduced Rinah to Yotam.

Media personality Racheli Mushkovitz shared the story, highlighting the journey from prayers for the wounded to the joyous wedding celebration, calling Yotam's recovery "an indescribable miracle." The wedding was marked by a special congratulatory video message from Israeli President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal. President Herzog expressed excitement for the couple and praised Yotam's mother, Michal Asban, founder and chairwoman of the "Mother Lioness" organization, which supports hundreds of families of wounded IDF soldiers.

Michal Herzog acknowledged Yotam's difficult recovery and wished the couple happiness, health, and joy. The president also mentioned Yotam's brother Eliyahu, an IDF commander, and wished the newlyweds a faithful and happy home filled with good news. The event symbolizes resilience and hope emerging from the hardships of war and injury.
