Four Arrested in Suspected Murder of Woman Shot in Car in Northern Israel

Israeli police announced the arrest of four suspects in connection with the murder of Wafaa Badran, who was fatally shot inside her car in the town of Baana on January 10. The shooting occurred in the morning while Badran was driving with her young children, who witnessed the attack. She was critically wounded and died at the scene. Following a covert investigation lasting several months, police revealed the operation and detained four Baana residents aged 22, 28, 28, and 45, including a mother and her son. The suspects were taken for questioning at the Northern District's investigative unit in Galilee and are expected to be brought before the court to extend their detention.
