Four Arrested in Galilee Village for Murder of Woman in Front of Her Children

Israeli police announced the arrest of four suspects, including a mother and her son, in connection with the January murder of Faa Hasarma, 35, in the Galilee village of Bana. Hasarma was shot to death in her car in front of her two children, who were unharmed. Her husband, Mahmoud Hasarma, 38, had also been murdered nearly five years earlier in November 2021 in Nahariya, where he was fatally shot multiple times near his vehicle.

Following the murder report, numerous Northern District police units arrived at the scene and conducted a situation assessment. The investigation was initially covert and later became public, led by the Northern District's Galilee Central Unit. Authorities indicated the killing likely stemmed from a family dispute. The four suspects were brought in for extended detention.

The police emphasized that solving murder cases and preventing serious crime remain top priorities for the Northern District. They are dedicating advanced technological resources, intelligence capabilities, and skilled personnel to thoroughly investigate each crime scene and hold suspects accountable. Faa Hasarma worked as a special education advisor in schools prior to her death.
