Solomon has made only five official appearances for Tottenham due to a long-term injury and has been loaned out to Leeds United, Villarreal, and Fiorentina. This summer, he was listed among players Tottenham considered moving on as part of squad changes. Despite uncertainty about his future, Solomon impressed during Tottenham's preseason matches, attracting interest from several clubs, including Manchester City.
