Three-Year-Old Boy Dies After Being Run Over in Wadi Ara, Suspect Arrested

A three-year-old boy was critically injured and later died at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera following an incident in Ar'ara, located in the Wadi Ara region, on Wednesday evening. Police suspect the child was run over, although family members initially claimed he had fallen. Authorities believe this initial explanation may have been an attempt to obstruct the investigation. One individual has been arrested in connection with the case, and a police inquiry is ongoing.

According to the police, preliminary findings suggest the incident was a vehicular assault. Officers from the Iron Police Station, led by Chief Superintendent Tzachi Ben Haim, responded promptly to the scene, conducted an assessment, and detained a suspect. Forensic investigators and traffic examiners from the Menashe district are currently collecting evidence and examining the circumstances surrounding the event.
