Gilad Erdan to Launch New Party Tomorrow, Open to Alliances with Benny Gantz and Hili Tropper

Gilad Erdan is set to officially launch his new political party tomorrow, with Yuli Edelstein positioned as the second candidate on the list, according to a report by Kan News on Wednesday evening. The party launch will emphasize the issue of equal burden-sharing and a commitment not to support narrow governments from any political bloc. Announcements regarding the joining of Aliza Bloch and Hazi Nahama are expected in the coming days, while Oren Samdeja remains undecided.

Erdan, Hili Tropper, and Knesset member Benny Gantz remain open to forming alliances depending on their standing in the polls, but such mergers are expected only close to the Knesset candidate registration deadline. Currently, Ayelet Shaked and Moshe Kahlon are not expected to join any of the emerging political formations.

Separately, yesterday, Naftali Bennett, chairman of the "Together" party, announced the addition of four new female candidates to his Knesset list: Bruria Naim, Esti Kovo, attorney Orly Harel, and Olesya Kantor. This brings the party's total number of female candidates to 17. Bennett described this as a significant strengthening of the "Israeli repair team," highlighting the new candidates as a diverse mosaic of leading women in their fields. He emphasized that the party's female majority is based on merit rather than gender, stating, "Together we will fix [the country]."
