The disruption affected service between Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Haifa Bat Galim, Haifa Center HaShmona, and the Lev HaMifratz Central station.
The company also reported broader changes to train routes and frequencies across northern Israel. It advised passengers in Haifa and the north to consider alternative transportation until regular service resumes.
Israel Railways said crews were working to restore normal operations, and that the incident was being examined. The company apologized for the inconvenience.
