Netanyahu and Gadi Eizenkot Neck and Neck in New Israeli Election Poll

A recent poll conducted by Channel 12 News reveals a largely stable distribution of Knesset seats among leading parties, with notable uncertainty at the lower end of the spectrum. The Likud party, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, and the newly formed "Yashar!" party headed by Gadi Eizenkot, both hold 23 seats each, indicating a tight race at the top.

Other significant results include the Yamina party under Naftali Bennett with 14 seats, the Democratic camp led by Yair Golan with 10 seats, and Yisrael Beiteinu headed by Avigdor Lieberman securing 9 seats. Religious and right-wing parties such as United Torah Judaism (8 seats), Shas (7 seats), Otzma Yehudit (7 seats), and Religious Zionism led by Bezalel Smotrich (5 seats) also maintain a presence.

The Zionist Home party, led by reserve officers Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, is precariously close to the electoral threshold with 4 seats. Arab parties including Hadash-Ta'al (5 seats) and the United Arab List (Ra'am) under Mansour Abbas (5 seats) also cross the threshold. Meanwhile, Blue and White, led by Benny Gantz, falls below the threshold with only 1.4% of the vote, and Balad, led by Sami Abu Shehadeh, garners 0.8%, also below the cutoff.
