New Poll Shows Otzma Yehudit Surging to 9 Seats as Likud Weakens

A new poll conducted by Professor Yitzhak Katz and published Tuesday evening on Channel 16 reveals significant shifts in Israeli political party standings. Otzma Yehudit, led by Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, reached a new high of 9 Knesset seats. Meanwhile, the Likud party lost 2 seats, dropping to 21 mandates.

According to the poll, if elections were held today, Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar party would be the largest in the Knesset with 22 seats. The Yamina party, led by Naftali Bennett, would lose 4 seats, securing only 14 mandates. The Democrats, headed by Yair Golan, would gain 11 seats. Both Shas and Yisrael Beiteinu would receive 9 seats each.

Additional results show United Torah Judaism with 8 seats, Hadash-Ta'al with 5, and Ra'am with 4. Both the Religious Zionist Party under Bezalel Smotrich and the new party formed by Yoaz Hendel and Hili Tropper would each obtain 4 seats. Balad and Benny Gantz's party fall below the electoral threshold.

In bloc terms, the coalition would hold 51 seats, the opposition 61, and Arab parties combined would have 9 seats. This poll highlights a notable rise for Otzma Yehudit and a decline for major parties like Likud and Yamina.
