Key events include two special observation nights at the Dead Sea region by the Tamar Regional Council on August 12-13, featuring telescopes, explanations, music, herbal tea, and marshmallows around a fire, costing 50 shekels per participant. The Technoda science center in Hadera will host a darkened area event on August 13 from 21:00 to 23:00, including guided star observations, scientific lectures, and rocket launches for ages 12 and up, priced at 35 shekels.

The Mateh Yehuda Regional Council suggests several excellent independent viewing spots like Netaf, Harel Lookout, and Emek HaEla Valley, encouraging visitors to combine stargazing with local wineries and restaurants.
