Former Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea Joins Ondas Defense as Global President and Chairman
Two months after concluding his tenure as head of Mossad, Dedi Barnea has joined the security technology company Ondas. The Nasdaq-listed firm announced on August 3, 2026, that Barnea will serve as the global president of Ondas Defense and chairman of the company. Barnea led Mossad from 2021 to 2026, following nearly 30 years in the organization.
In his new role, Barnea will oversee the advancement of the company’s business and technological strategies, lead its international market operations, and drive the development of defense technologies along with business and technology acquisitions and integrations. Barnea expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with the team to support global expansion and help develop next-generation multidimensional defense systems based on artificial intelligence.
