Former Mossad Chief Dedi Barnea Joins Ondas Defense as Global President and Chairman

Dedi Barnea, who served as head of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency from 2021 to 2026, has taken on a new role in the private sector. Just two months after concluding his tenure at Mossad, Barnea was appointed global president and chairman of Ondas Defense, a security technology company publicly traded on NASDAQ.

In his new position, Barnea will be responsible for shaping and leading the company's business and technological strategy, expanding its international presence, developing advanced defense technologies, and overseeing acquisitions and business-technology integrations. Barnea brings nearly three decades of experience from his career at Mossad to this role.

Upon his appointment, Barnea expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with the Ondas team to support the company's global expansion and to help develop next-generation multidimensional defense systems based on artificial intelligence. Ondas CEO Eric Brock praised Barnea's extensive background in intelligence, security, and technology as directly relevant to the company's next growth phase and expressed confidence that Barnea would accelerate Ondas' activities in the global defense market.
