Military Prosecution Charges Nor al-Shams Battalion Commander in Fatal Attack on Reserve Sergeant
The military prosecution filed charges yesterday at the Samaria military court against Kamal Hatib, who served as a member, manager, and ultimately the commander of the Nor al-Shams terrorist battalion. He is accused of involvement in the July 2024 attack that resulted in the death of Reserve Sergeant Yehuda Geto. The indictment includes multiple serious offenses such as intentional joint causing of death (equivalent to murder), attempted intentional joint causing of death, leading an unauthorized organization, trafficking in military equipment, and planting a bomb. The Samaria military court ordered Hatib's detention until the conclusion of the legal proceedings against him.
