Israeli Soldier Charged in Killing of Man in Shfaram
Israel's national unit for investigating serious and international crimes, Lahav 433's Yahlal unit, has concluded its investigation into the killing of Hisham Hajirat in Shfaram. The prosecution has announced its intent to file charges against an Israeli soldier suspected in the case.
According to the investigation's findings, the suspect allegedly intercepted Hajirat and fatally shot him. Following the incident, police located and apprehended the soldier in a wooded area. Authorities reportedly found a gasoline container in the suspect's possession, believed to be intended for burning the vehicle used in the crime.
The prosecution is expected to finalize legal proceedings to formally indict the soldier.
