Ashkelon Man Arrested in Drug Bust with Over 450 Grams of Narcotics and Cash
Israeli police in Ashkelon, in a joint operation between the Ashkelon police station detectives and the Security and Counterterrorism Division, arrested a local resident on suspicion of drug trafficking and distribution. The arrest followed a search of the suspect's home conducted under a court order, where authorities seized approximately 450 grams of various illegal drugs, including 316 grams of crystal meth, 104 grams of cannabis, and 38 grams of hashish.
In addition to the narcotics, the police confiscated 51,840 shekels in cash, an airsoft pistol, and three matching magazines. The suspect was taken into custody and transferred to the Ashkelon police station for further investigation. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the city.
