Former Fatah Official Dahlan Says Kushner Secured Israeli Ceasefire Commitment in Gaza

Mohammed Dahlan, a former senior Fatah official, claimed on his X account that after Hamas and other Gaza factions approved a 15-point document to implement the second phase of the U.S. plan, the success of the arrangement now depends on Israel's full commitment to halt attacks and targeted killings in Gaza. Dahlan, who currently holds no official position in the Palestinian Authority but acts as a mediator with the Americans, stated that Jared Kushner, former advisor to Donald Trump, informed him of agreements reached with Israeli political leadership to stop IDF strikes starting Sunday morning. Concurrently, Dahlan urged Gaza terrorist groups to comply with the agreement's terms, cease armed demonstrations in the streets, and avoid actions that could provoke Israel to resume hostilities.
