Former Fatah Official Dahlan Says Kushner Secured Israeli Ceasefire Commitment in Gaza

Mohammed Dahlan, a former senior Fatah official, stated on X that following Hamas and Palestinian factions' approval of a 15-point document to implement the second phase of the U.S. plan for Gaza, the success of the agreement depends on Israel's full commitment to halt attacks, killings, and targeted assassinations in the Gaza Strip. Dahlan, who currently holds no official position in the Palestinian Authority but claims involvement in negotiations with Americans and the agreement's implementation, said Jared Kushner assured him that an understanding was reached with the Israeli side to stop attacks starting Sunday morning. Dahlan urged Palestinian factions to adhere to the agreement, cease armed demonstrations, and avoid actions that could give Israel a pretext to undermine the deal.
