Yoav Segalovich Considers Joint Run with Ra'am Party in Upcoming Knesset Elections

Yoav Segalovich, a Knesset member from the Jewish-Arab party Yachad, is currently in talks with Mansour Abbas, chairman of the Ra'am party, about the possibility of a joint Jewish-Arab electoral list for the upcoming Knesset elections. Over recent months, Abbas has expressed significant appreciation for Segalovich and has even indicated a desire to include him within Ra'am's ranks. Segalovich is respected within the Arab community, partly due to his previous role as Deputy Minister of Public Security in the government formed after the 2021 elections.

At this stage, no final decision has been made. Segalovich is currently on vacation in Thailand with his family and is expected to return to Israel by mid-next week, which is more than a month before the official deadline for submitting party lists to the Knesset. Upon his return, decisions regarding his political future and the potential joint run with Ra'am are expected to be finalized. The deadline for submitting Knesset candidate lists is September 7, less than 40 days before the elections.
