Ra'am Seeks to Recruit MK Yoav Segalovich to Boost Arab Party's Appeal

Ra'am, the Arab political party led by Mansour Abbas, is attempting to recruit MK Yoav Segalovich from the Yesh Atid party to run on its list in the upcoming Knesset elections. Segalovich, currently on vacation in Thailand, is expected to return to Israel by mid-next week, when a meeting with Abbas is planned to finalize the details of the potential collaboration.

Recent polls conducted for the Arab party indicate that Segalovich is uniquely trusted by the Arab public, making him a valuable addition to Ra'am's political strength and standing. Mansour Abbas has been pushing for Segalovich's inclusion for some time, believing that adding a prominent Jewish representative could counter criticisms from right-wing Knesset members and activists.

In addition to recruiting Segalovich, Abbas is also considering changing Ra'am's official name to something more accessible and appealing to potential Jewish voters. This strategic move aims to broaden the party's voter base and enhance its political influence in the next Knesset.
