IDF's 188th Armored Brigade Destroys Over Ten Terror Tunnels in Gaza Strip
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that soldiers from the 188th Armored Brigade have destroyed more than ten underground tunnel routes in the southern Gaza Strip. These tunnels, used by Hamas for terrorist activities, included one that was utilized to hold hostages. This operation is part of an ongoing eight-month mission to secure and clear the "yellow line" area from terror infrastructure.
During the operation, the troops, in cooperation with the Engineering Corps (Yahalom), uncovered and neutralized various weapons caches containing rocket launchers, rockets, grenades, explosives, and Kalashnikov rifles. Additionally, the forces established new routes and outposts to enhance defensive capabilities in the region.
