IDF Destroys Hamas Underground Tunnel Network in Northern Gaza

The Northern Brigade and the Yahalom unit, under the command of Division 99, have destroyed a Hamas underground tunnel spanning several hundred meters in northern Gaza. The operation took place east of the "yellow line" in the northern Gaza Strip as part of efforts to clear the area of terror infrastructure. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released footage from inside the destroyed tunnel, highlighting the extensive underground network used by Hamas. The IDF stated that the brigade-level operation targeted and eliminated another segment of Hamas's subterranean routes. Meanwhile, IDF forces under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire arrangement. The military emphasized that its troops will continue to act to neutralize any immediate threats.
