IDF Destroys Another Hamas Terror Tunnel in Northern Gaza Nearly Three Years After October 7 Attack

Nearly three years after the October 7 massacre and the outbreak of the Iron Swords war, the Israel Defense Forces continue their systematic efforts to locate and destroy Hamas terror infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. The Northern Brigade and the Yahalom engineering unit, under the command of Division 99, recently destroyed an underground tunnel route several hundred meters long in northern Gaza, east of the so-called "yellow line." This operation was part of a broader divisional campaign to eliminate Hamas's tunnel network. The IDF released footage showing the tunnel's interior and its destruction, highlighting the extensive engineering efforts involved.

The Southern Command emphasized that its forces will continue to operate in accordance with the ceasefire arrangement, focusing on removing any immediate threats to IDF troops and Israeli civilians.
