Newcastle's Next Coach Jeroen van den Berg Linked to Oscar Gloukh Signing

Jeroen van den Berg is expected to be appointed as Newcastle United's next head coach. Van den Berg recently managed Al Ahly after two successful seasons at Red Bull Salzburg, where he notably signed Oscar Gloukh from Maccabi Tel Aviv for 7 million euros in January 2023. Under van den Berg, Gloukh scored two goals and assisted two more, contributing to Salzburg's league title before van den Berg's departure.

Van den Berg praised Gloukh as a high-level player who integrated seamlessly into the team.
