Four Teens From Rehovot Released to House Arrest Over Cinema Attendant Assault
A juvenile court in Rishon Lezion ordered four teenagers from Rehovot, aged 15 to 16, to five days of house arrest with restrictive conditions following their arrest on suspicion of assaulting a 19-year-old cinema attendant. The incident occurred about ten days ago at the Hot Cinema in Rehovot. The attendant had asked the group to stop smoking electronic cigarettes inside the theater, which led to a verbal dispute that escalated. One of the suspects allegedly punched the attendant in the face, causing him to lose consciousness, after which the other suspects joined in and kicked him while he was on the ground. Additionally, the teenagers were banned from entering the cinema for 15 days as part of the court's ruling.
