Pedestrian in His 50s Killed in Car Accident Near Yavne Interchange on Route 4
A pedestrian estimated to be around 50 years old died on Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle on Route 4 near the Yavne interchange. The incident was reported at 13:02 to Magen David Adom's 101 emergency center in the Ayalon region. Paramedics and medics arrived at the scene and performed resuscitation efforts, but the pedestrian, who suffered multiple severe injuries, was pronounced dead at the site. Paramedic Guy Barali and motorcycle medic Roni Raviv described the event as severe, noting that the pedestrian was found lying on the road after the collision. The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
