Masked Attacker Smashes News 12 Door Amid Rising Threats to Israeli Journalists

On the night of July 28, 2026, an unidentified masked individual shattered the glass door of News 12's offices in Tel Aviv, marking the second violent incident targeting the news outlet within a month. The attack was captured and circulated on social media, sparking alarm among the newsroom staff.

Journalist Adva Dadon condemned the assault in an Instagram story, calling it a "real alarm" and emphasizing that "the blood of News 12 journalists is not forfeit." She urged the Israeli government and the Communications Minister to cease inflammatory rhetoric and incitement against the free press, which she said contributes to such dangerous acts.
