Masked Attacker Smashes News 12 Entrance Glass in Second Incident This Month
In Tel Aviv, a masked individual shattered the glass door of News 12's entrance for the second time this month during the night of Tuesday. Earlier in the month, another unknown assailant broke the glass doors at the same location and fled before police arrived. Authorities have launched an investigation on suspicion of property damage, but no suspects have been identified or arrested yet.
Security footage shows the suspect approaching the building with a covered face, holding two bricks, and throwing them one after another at the entrance doors, causing them to break before escaping the scene. This incident follows another act of vandalism near the News 12 studios, where graffiti was sprayed with a threatening message against law enforcement and the news channel, prompting a separate investigation for property defacement.
Similar attacks on media outlets have occurred in the past, including a November 2025 graffiti incident at Reshet 13’s building in Tel Aviv. Police continue to investigate the motives behind these attacks, whether they are isolated vandalism or intended to send a message. The identity of the current suspect remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
