Worldwide Outage Hits Facebook and Instagram Users
Users around the world are reporting widespread disruptions on Meta’s Facebook and Instagram services. Affected users say they cannot see new content, cannot log in, and are being shown empty feeds.
According to Downdetector, more than 113,000 users reported problems and outages related to Facebook, with most complaints focused on the app rather than the website. The reports also cover Instagram, but there are no current reports of disruptions to WhatsApp, Meta’s messaging service.
