Worldwide Facebook and Instagram outage disrupts logins
Users in Israel and around the world reported a global outage on Friday affecting Facebook and Instagram. The disruption began about half an hour before the report, and users said the apps were not functioning normally.
Social media security expert Oshri Raviv told Mako that the problem appears to be a login failure. According to him, people cannot sign in to the apps, and those already logged in are unable to perform any actions.
The article does not say what caused the outage or when normal service will be restored.
