Avraham Gordon Secures 13th Straight Win in Historic Israeli MMA Event

Avraham Gordon achieved a significant victory on Monday night in his first fight held on Israeli soil, defeating renowned Brazilian fighter John Lineker after a tough battle. The match took place at Menora Mivtachim Arena in front of approximately 11,000 spectators, marking the conclusion of Israel's first-ever mixed martial arts event of this scale. Gordon's win extended his undefeated record to 13-0.

Gordon entered the fight accompanied by wounded fighters from the recent Iron Swords war, with his friend, singer Liam Golan, performing "Am Yisrael Chai" as he made his entrance. Despite facing an experienced and well-known opponent, Gordon managed to secure the victory and maintain his perfect streak, making the moment especially meaningful as it was his debut fight in front of a home crowd.

Earlier in the evening, Avraham's brother, Ruach Hashem Gordon, also fought his first match in Israel against Maximus Genota. After a hard-fought contest, Ruach Hashem emerged victorious, adding to the family's successful night. He was accompanied by bereaved families and the children of the late Lieutenant Colonel Asaf Hamami, adding emotional significance to his bout.

The event combined sports with tributes to fallen soldiers and wounded fighters, drawing thousands of fans including notable Israeli figures such as basketball player Deni Avdija and singers On Refali, Roy and Gal Adam, and Corinne Gideon. Sponsored by Mania Jeans, longtime supporters of the Gordon brothers, and produced by Moti Lasri of "Chogegim Productions," the event highlighted both athletic achievement and national solidarity.
