German Forward Maxi Kleber Considered by Hapoel Tel Aviv for New Season
Hapoel Tel Aviv is reportedly interested in signing Maxi Kleber, a 34-year-old German forward/center who has spent the last nine years playing in the NBA. Kleber, standing 2.08 meters tall, most recently played for the Los Angeles Lakers during the previous season. He appeared in 43 games, averaging 10.7 minutes, 2 points, and 2 rebounds per game. Prior to the Lakers, Kleber played for the Dallas Mavericks, with his best season being 2019/20, when he played 74 games and averaged 9.1 points per game. If signed, Kleber would join teammates Tai Odiase and Dan Otoru, providing additional height and versatility by playing both the power forward and center positions. Further details about the potential transfer are expected to be announced soon.
