Hapoel Tel Aviv Targets Max Heidegger to Strengthen Israeli Basketball Roster

Following the recent signing of Freddy Bordion, Hapoel Tel Aviv continues to bolster its Israeli basketball squad. The club announced Bordion's acquisition on the morning of August 6, 2026, and has now set its sights on adding guard Max Heidegger to the team. Heidegger, a 29-year-old naturalized player standing 1.91 meters tall, played last season with Bnei Herzliya, appearing in 17 games and averaging 15.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.1 assists over 25.2 minutes per game. Previously, Heidegger had a brief stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2020/21 season, where he played only two games and scored a total of two points. If signed, Heidegger would strengthen the Israeli contingent under coach Dimitris Itoudis as Hapoel Tel Aviv aims to deepen its roster for the upcoming season.
