IDF Captain Yuval Ezra Killed in West Bank Terror Attack Laid to Rest

IDF Captain Yuval Ezra, who was killed in a terror attack near the village of Tal in the West Bank, was laid to rest on Sunday at the military cemetery in Beit Dagan. The attack occurred during a hiking trip involving a group of Israelis near the outskirts of Tal, close to the city of Nablus (Shechem). Alongside Captain Ezra, Reserve Sergeant Beni Malat, 32, a father of two from the Gilead Farm settlement and a member of the rapid response team, was also killed. Two other civilians were wounded in the attack, with one evacuated by helicopter in serious condition.

Captain Ezra, 27, from Herzliya, served as a battery commander in the 411th Artillery Battalion. At his funeral, his mother expressed her grief, recalling his constant smile and the impact he had on many people. She said, "You touched so many lives, you loved it so much. You are forever in our hearts. I kissed you goodbye, I love you, my child. Thank you." The attack has added to the ongoing tensions and violence in the region, with security forces continuing their efforts to prevent further incidents.
