IDF Officer Yuval Ezra Killed in West Bank Terror Attack Laid to Rest

Lieutenant Colonel Yuval Ezra, 27, from Herzliya, who was killed in a terror attack near the village of Tal in the West Bank over the weekend, was buried today at Beit Dagan cemetery. His fiancée, Timor, mourned him, saying, "You were the best friend and partner. Everyone loved you, you know that. You were a simple man. I love you and will always love you." The incident occurred on Friday when a group of Jewish hikers arrived in the area without coordination with the IDF, leading to a confrontation with Palestinians near a mosque in the village. At one point, Binyahu Malt, a member of the security team from the settlement of Havot Gilad, was called to assist the hikers. A terrorist seized his weapon and shot him and Lieutenant Colonel Ezra, who had come to the scene, killing them both. This attack follows other recent violence in the region, including two stabbing attacks in Samaria, one leaving a man seriously injured and a soldier lightly wounded.
