Father Charged with Raping and Abusing Two Young Children in Central Israel

The State Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against a man from central Israel accused of sexually abusing his two minor children over a five-year period. According to the indictment submitted to the Central District Court in Lod, between 2019 and 2024, the father allegedly committed two counts of rape and additional indecent acts against his daughter, who was about 12 years old at the time. He is also accused of indecent acts against his son, who was approximately 11 years old. The indictment states that one of the incidents against the son occurred following the rape of the daughter. The prosecution also alleges that the father was violent at home, including breaking his daughter's mobile phone. The prosecution has requested that the accused remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
