Three Family Members Charged with Sexual Abuse of 10-Year-Old Boy in Central Israel

The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office filed indictments on Thursday against three family members from central Israel, accusing them of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy over a period of about two years. The accused include the boy's grandmother, grandfather, and aunt. According to the indictments, the abuse was carried out as a form of "sexual amusement," involving multiple instances of touching the boy's genitals while the perpetrators laughed and recorded themselves on mobile phones.

Some of the videos were shared in a family WhatsApp group, while others were stored on the phones of family members. The charges include indecent acts against a minor family member, abuse of a minor or helpless person, and using a minor's body for obscene publication by a responsible party. The prosecution has requested that the accused be held in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.

This case emerged from a broader police investigation led by Unit 105's investigation division, which is probing numerous suspects nationwide for sexual offenses against minors. Several indictments have already been filed by the State Prosecutor's Cyber Department as part of this extensive inquiry.
