Three Family Members Charged with Sexually Abusing 10-Year-Old Boy in Central Israel
The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office filed indictments on Thursday against three family members from central Israel, the boy's grandmother, grandfather, and aunt, accusing them of sexually abusing a 10-year-old boy over approximately two years. According to the indictments, the abuse began when the child was 10 years old and involved multiple incidents where the suspects touched the boy's genitals while laughing and recording the acts on their mobile phones. Some of these videos were shared in a family WhatsApp group, while others were stored on the suspects' devices.
The charges include indecent acts against a minor family member, abuse of a minor or helpless person, and using a minor's body to produce obscene material by a responsible party. The prosecution requested the suspects be held in custody until the conclusion of their legal proceedings.
This case emerged from a broader police investigation led by Unit 105's investigation division, targeting numerous suspects nationwide on suspicions of sexual offenses against minors. The State Cyber Department has already filed several indictments in related cases as part of this extensive inquiry.
