Father from Central Israel Indicted for Sexual Assault Against Daughter and Son

The Central District Prosecutor's Office filed charges on August 25, 2025, against a man from central Israel accused of sexually abusing his two minor children. According to the indictment submitted by Attorney Daphna Gasner-Frenbach, between 2019 and 2024, while living with his family, the defendant committed two counts of rape and indecent acts against his daughter, who was around 12 years old at the time. Additionally, he committed indecent acts against his son, who was approximately 11 years old, with one incident occurring following the rape of his daughter.

The indictment also reveals that the accused was violent at home, including an incident where he broke his daughter's mobile phone during an episode of violence. The prosecution has requested the court to extend his detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings against him. The case is being heard at the Central District Court in Lod.
