Trump Conditions Saudi Civil Nuclear Deal on Joining Abraham Accords
Less than a day after the U.S. Department of Energy announced a civil nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia, President Donald Trump declared that the deal is contingent upon Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords. Trump stated on his Truth Social account that the civil nuclear agreement, which excludes uranium enrichment and is limited to peaceful uses similar to those in Iran and the UAE, will be approved only if Saudi Arabia commits to the respected and successful Abraham Accords.
