Radisson Blu Larnaca Issues Stern Letter to Beitar Jerusalem Fans After Vandalism Incident

Following a 2-2 draw and a 3-1 penalty shootout loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Toto Cup, Beitar Jerusalem is set to play AEK Larnaca in the second qualifying round of the Conference League. Ahead of their match on Thursday at 19:30, the Radisson Blu hotel in Larnaca, where the team’s fans are staying, released a strongly worded letter addressing recent misconduct by Beitar supporters. The hotel management, proud of its Israeli ownership and connection to a former Jerusalem resident and fan, expressed disappointment over graffiti vandalism around the hotel, complaints about noise disturbances, and the strong smell of marijuana in guest rooms. The letter called on the fans to maintain respectful behavior toward everyone and wished them success in the upcoming game, as well as a meaningful fast for Tisha B'Av. The letter was widely circulated on social media on Wednesday, highlighting the tension between the visiting fans and the local hotel staff.
