Beitar Jerusalem supporters are already booking flights to Larnaca ahead of the club’s second qualifying-round match against AEK Larnaca in the Conference League on July 23. However, it is far from certain that all fans who travel will be able to buy match tickets.
In a message to supporters, Beitar said it has so far received only 400 tickets, equal to 5% of the stadium capacity, as required by UEFA competition rules. The club added that there is a strong chance it will not receive any additional allocation.
Beitar warned fans against buying unofficial travel packages or tickets outside the club’s channels. The expectation is that travel companies will offer packages that include tickets in AEK’s sections, while Cypriot police are planning a complete separation between the two fan groups.
The stand designated for Beitar fans has 1,800 seats, and the club is continuing talks with the Cypriots in hopes of securing a larger allocation if there is goodwill on their side.
