Hapoel Be'er Sheva Eyes Portuguese Left-Back Pedro Amador for Summer Signing

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is considering adding Portuguese left-back Pedro Amador to their squad ahead of the upcoming season. The 27-year-old defender, currently playing for Atlanta United in Major League Soccer (MLS), is seen as a potential replacement for Helder Lopes, who is expected to leave the club this summer. Amador developed through Sporting Lisbon's youth system and later played for Belenenses during his youth career. As a senior player, he featured for Nacional, Braga, and Moreirense, helping Moreirense gain promotion to Portugal's top division in the 2022/23 season.

In 2024, Amador transferred to Atlanta United, where he has spent the last two seasons. This year, he has made seven MLS appearances and three in the U.S. Open Cup, although he has mostly been on the bench since Atlanta's return from the break. In 2025, he appeared 27 times for Atlanta United, scoring one goal. Hapoel Be'er Sheva aims to strengthen their defensive line with Amador as they prepare for the new season under coach Ran Kojukh.
