Hapoel Be'er Sheva Confident Pedro Amador Is Fit and Will Join Team

Hapoel Be'er Sheva is optimistic that Portuguese defender Pedro Amador is fit to join the team, despite recent rumors of an injury. The club, disappointed by their 2-1 loss to Vikingur in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers earlier this week, is already focusing on the upcoming second leg and hopes to secure advancement to the next stage. Amador is expected to undergo thorough medical examinations upon arrival, and the club believes he will significantly strengthen their defense. If all goes well, he will sign a two-year contract.

Meanwhile, Be'er Sheva continues to search for a foreign central defender, aiming to complete the signing before the next European qualifying round. Amador developed in Sporting Lisbon's youth system and played for Belenenses, Nacional, Braga, and Moreirense, helping the latter gain promotion to Portugal's top division in the 2022/23 season. In 2024, he transferred to Atlanta United in Major League Soccer, where he has made 27 appearances and scored once in 2025, with seven league appearances and three cup matches this year.
