Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Left-Back Pedro Amador from Atlanta United
Hapoel Be'er Sheva officially announced the signing of left-back Pedro Amador from Atlanta United, as previously reported. Amador will be the club's fifth foreign player, joining Jibril Diop, Lucas Ventura, Javon East, and Igor Zlatanovic. He is eligible to play in the upcoming second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against Vikingur.
Pedro Amador developed in Sporting Lisbon's youth system and later played for Belenenses at youth levels. He made his senior debut with Nacional on December 1 and subsequently played for Braga and Moreirense, helping Moreirense gain promotion to Portugal's top division in the 2022/23 season. After four years with Moreirense, he transferred to Atlanta United in MLS in 2024, where he has played for two seasons.
In the current season, Amador has made seven MLS appearances and three in the cup competition. He was on the bench in Atlanta's first match after the break and in the three prior games. In 2025, he recorded 27 appearances and scored one goal for Atlanta United. His arrival at Be'er Sheva is expected to strengthen the team's defense ahead of their European campaign.
