Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Left-Back Pedro Amador from Atlanta United

Hapoel Be'er Sheva officially announced the signing of left-back Pedro Amador from Major League Soccer's Atlanta United. Amador will be the club's fifth foreign player, joining Jibril Diop, Lucas Ventura, Javon East, and Igor Zlatanovic in the squad. The club confirmed that Amador could be eligible to play as early as the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against Vikingur.

Pedro Amador developed in Sporting Lisbon's youth system and later played for Belenenses at youth levels. He made his senior debut with Nacional da Madeira and subsequently played for Braga and Moreirense, helping Moreirense gain promotion to Portugal's top division in the 2022/23 season. After four years in Portugal, Amador moved to Atlanta United in 2024, where he has made 27 appearances and scored one goal in the 2025 season. This year, he has appeared seven times in MLS and three times in the U.S. Open Cup, though he has recently been on the bench.

The transfer marks a strategic addition for Hapoel Be'er Sheva as they prepare for their upcoming European campaign, aiming to strengthen their defensive options on the left flank.
