Palestinian Man From Hebron Arrested for Indecent Acts at Tel Aviv Beach
A 20-year-old Palestinian man from Hebron was arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of committing indecent acts against two minors and a young woman while they were swimming at Charles Clore Beach in Tel Aviv. The suspect, who is residing in Israel illegally, allegedly touched the girls inappropriately while they were in the water. Several minors, who are foreign tourists visiting Israel as part of a project, reported that the suspect tried to touch them under their swimsuits. The incident was reported by beachgoers and a lifeguard who alerted the police. Officers from the Tel Aviv Lev station quickly arrived at the scene, detained the suspect, and confirmed his illegal status in Israel. Following his interrogation, the suspect was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court later today for a hearing regarding the case.
